I was visiting my sister in Colorado last year and was on the porch one dark night. At one point I noticed I could see again, so I looked up and the moon had started to rise over the mountains, illuminating the trees and letting me see mountain's silhouette. I didn't get a picture - but here is an artistically stylized version of what I saw that night. It was breathtaking, and an example of why the mountains will always be my favorite places in nature.
